On the sunniest #SiencoDeMayo in the history of Cinco de Mayos, I got to witness one of my oldest and dearest friends marry the love of his life. The amount of support and excitement from the people surrounding them made this day truly one for the books. And of course we got the classiest LHS class of 2007 picture you'll EVER see. Zachary and Maura: thank you so much for allowing me to be there for every slip down the stairs, every inappropriately-timed fit of laughter, and every choked up "I Do." I love you both!
January 6th, 2018 was a day filled with magic, from fairy princesses in tulle to a dancing Jesus. But above the thoughtful details and delicate composition were the moments wrapped in unconditional love and and abandoned joy. You could feel it around and its evidence is so clear in the images. If you know the Oliver family, you'll know that their bond is knit together with infectious laughter. As a photographer (and unofficially adopted 3rd daughter), I wanted to capture every part of that spirit in the day. The romantic atmosphere of the colors and scenery were just a plus... not to mention the most beautiful couple straight from a Jane Austen novel! Paul and Katy, I wish you the best for a life and love beyond anything you could ever hope for. Thanks for allowing me come alongside you on your wedding day!
For a photographer, weddings can be tiring and stressful; rarely a moment to ever collect your thoughts or catch your breath. So when I say I would do this day all over again in a heartbeat, it's a testament to how effortlessly perfect September 9, 2017 was. Michael and Lauren are the real deal. Genuine, caring, selfless, patient, and so in love with each other. And with a venue straight out of an airy, well-lit dream, it made my first wedding in OKC one I can't imagine topping. I’m so thankful for the doors that have been opened and for the trust placed in me to capture these treasured moments. Bust mostly, I'm honored that I get to call these "clients" dear dear friends. Thank you to the Fite and Green families for such a wonderful celebration to be a part of!
Sam and Kiersten got married on the first weekend of August in Georgetown, TX. The day was hot, but spent the way every wedding day should be – relaxed, with the best of friends and surrounded by love. It was a celebration all day. I am so honored that I got to photograph this perfect union! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jones!
There have never been too cuter people than Micah and Maelyn – and what’s even better, they are as kind as they are beautiful! I absolutely LOVED working with these two and their amazing families. Enjoy some of my favorite image highlights from their day.
Celebrating the union of dear friends is special, and even more so when you get to be up in the action, documenting all the details. I couldn't asked for a more beautiful, fun-loving couple and I think the warm, Christ-centered spirit of their day really translates to the photographs. I am beyond blessed to know y'all and so honored to have been a part of your wedding day, Connor and Mack! Can't wait to see what God has in store for you both as you walk through life together.
Micah and Maelyn are so fun to be around, completely in love with each other, and C'MON, totally gorgeous together. So basically the ultimate recipe for a perfect engagement session! We had a blast walking around downtown Georgetown and Blue Hole, finishing with some quintessential Texas backdrops. They had me smiling the whole time and even doubled over in laughter at one point when Micah called himself "Mr. Steal-yo-girl." Needless to say, I'm over-the-moon about being a part of their wedding day this year. Love you two already!
Haleigh and Andrew are getting married this weekend so I wanted to share a few pictures from their engagement session at the beautiful town square in Georgetown, Texas. They were such a joy to photograph and I couldn't be more thrilled for their upcoming nuptials. Congratulations to the Hays!
The best part about finishing up a wedding shoot is getting to leak the bridal pictures! I've been holding onto these beauties for awhile now and am so excited to share my shoot with Lindsay. She made a dream come true when she suggested that we do her bridal portraits at Laguna Gloria. It doesn't get much better than a beautiful day paired with a gorgeous venue and even more stunning bride. I'm so happy for you, Lindsay!
It's always a joy to share in someone's love story but especially when it's a friend. I've known Virginia for a few years now and I could not have been happier when she started showing up at work talking about Justin... and just beaming uncontrollably. Talk about two people meant for each other! It's been such a blessing seeing their love grow together and now being able to help them tie the knot! Congratulations you two!
I absolutely loved getting to know Paige and James when we shot their half in-home/half St. Edwards Park engagement pictures. Nothing beats a couple that just has so much fun being with each other. Pink bowties and multi-colored balloons don't hurt either though. Looking forward to sharing their day with them in December!
A trip home to Missouri always calls for a bonfire... and a photoshoot with my sister.
I recently got to meet up and shoot with the incredibly gorgeous fashion blogger, Jacy Overstreet, of Love, Lenore. Her unique style, sweet disposition, and willingness to go along with my [somewhat out-there] ideas made her an absolute dream to work with. I hope you all take a moment to visit her blog for details on this perfect outfit she's sporting. You can also follow her on Instagram for additional style tips and inspiration.
